A man will face Waverley Local Court today after police allegedly uncovered drugs and guns during a raid on his house at Maroubra in Sydney's east yesterday.

A search warrant was executed on the Maroubra Road home around 2.40pm by the Eastern Beaches Local Area Command’s Proactive Crime Unit, officers allegedly finding almost five kilograms of cannabis and smaller amounts of speed, MDMA and cocaine.
 
Police also seized two prohibited firearms, one unregistered firearm and ammunition.

The 41 year old Maroubra man has been charged with supplying a prohibited drug, supplying cannabis, possession of an unauthorised prohibited firearm, not keeping the firearm safe and possession of ammunition.

He was refused bail after yesterday's arrest.
