A man has drowned after becoming stuck in a stormwater drain during flash flooding in Capalaba, east of Brisbane, in Queensland overnight.
Police say the 18 year old man was body surfing in the Mark Street drain with several other people when his foot became stuck in a grate.
He was unable to be freed and was submerged in the rapidly rising water.
