An ACT police officer has pleaded guilty to accessing and keeping images of child pornography on his home computer during his court appearance in Canberra today.
The 38 year old constable will now be sentenced on May 8.
He was charged with using a carriage service to access the images after officers from the Australian Federal Police professional standards unit raided his home on March 21.
His name has been suppressed by the ACT Magistrates Court because releasing it could jeopardise an ongoing inquiry by the AFP, News Limited has reported.
The man has been suspended from ACT Police.
